15-Day Local Return Policy within Canada

Our 15-day money back guarantee gives you time to make sure your purchase is perfect. If you need to return it for any reason, we’ll happily provide you with an exchange or full refund.

You may return within 15 days of purchase when in its original condition except in the case of non-refundable special orders. Engraving fees, when applicable, are non-refundable. Please note the customer pays the return postage.

Our Canadian Return Process

Your complete satisfaction with our product is guaranteed or items may be returned to our store or exchanged within fifteen days from when it was shipped, with a Return Merchandise Authorisation. You will only pay for return shipping within Canada and insurance fees.

Please include any GIA/AGS diamond grading report and your appraisal(s). Also we strongly recommend insuring your return shipment for its full shipment or purchase value.

Insure Your Package. We recommend that you securely package your items in original packing materials, fully insured. We are not responsible for lost or stolen articles. For your convenience and at your discretion, Insurance can be purchased directly from Parcel Pro at

Diamond Certificates

When you order a loose diamond or diamond ring, we may ship it to you with the accompanying diamond grading report (also called a diamond certificate). These grading reports are lengthy, detailed documents created by diamond grading experts at one of two highly-respected diamond laboratories — making it very expensive to replace a diamond grading report. Because of this, we require each diamond grading report to be included with each returned diamond.

If you do not include both the diamond grading report and appraisal with your return, you will be charged a replacement fee.

After Your Return Has Been Received by J.B. Simpson Jewellers

Upon receiving your return, the item will be reviewed by our goldsmiths. Please note that items showing signs of wear or those that have been altered, resized (by a jeweller other than J.B. Simpson Jewellers), or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return. Returns without authorization, and packages that are improperly packaged or uninsured will be refused receipt. Please allow an average of 2-3 business days for review. We will contact you should we have any questions or if you require a repair quote.

For refunds, please allow an additional 7-10 business days to issue your credit and another 2-8 business days for your credit card company to post against your account. Any duty or tax charged to your original order by J.B. Simpson Jewellers will be automatically refunded to you where applicable. Returns for repairs and resizing will be conducted locally in Canada.
